Often likened to "fairies in forests," mushrooms belong to the kingdom of fungi, which are neither plants nor animals. They are living not only on roadside trees but also on fallen leaves, and they are everywhere and suddenly disappear without a trace.
I take an interest in the details of mushrooms. These details form shapes of my jewelry. For
example, detailed patterns in a mushroom's wrinkle repeat themselves, and the repetition makes up the overall shape of a mushroom. We can easily discover patterns spreading and sprawling in nature.
I would like to create jewelry reflecting these detailed patterns of nature with a point of view themed "proliferation." Detailed patterns and movements of mushroom inspire me to express growth and development of mushrooms.
